Wood increases the lead to 40″

Posted by:

Steve Wood has posted the fastest time on the final stage of the first loop and increased the lead to 40″. Ian Barrett has kept safely in 2nd with Stephen McCann taking more time out of Gary Kiernan in 4th. After not being able to find Richard Moore on SS8, Liam Howlett has gone missing from the results screen on SS9, Leon Galvin now seems to have the mantle of leading local. If we see either of these two, ...

Wood and Barrett match on SS8, but a few changes behind them.

Posted by:

The first batch of times are hitting us from the Blackwater test, Wood and Barrett match times but the changes seem to be happening behind them. Stephen McCann has gone ahead of Gary Kiernan into 3rd, McCann setting the fastest time here, and so far, we don’t have a time for Richard Moore. Liam Howlett has hit  hard on this test and moved clear of Joe Connolly and John Reddington and is closing in on John Bonner. Leon Galvin ...

Patterson and Galvin seem to be missing

Posted by:

The cars are now on the way out to the last loop of the day and two cars that look like that won’t be there this evening are Wesley Patterson and Leon Galvin. As of yet we don’t know if it is mechanical or structural, as soon as we find out, we will let you know. Most of the cars have gone past us in regroup and into service so when the servers have caught up on all the ...

Wood by 22″ after SS4

Posted by:

Steve Wood has kept his lead but reduced by 1″ after SS4, Ian Barrett taking that second on the second tour of the Cleariestown test, Neither of these though set the fastest timer on that test, Stephen McCann had that honour. McCann’s car however is showing the scars of the battle, an off on a bend has left some of the bodywork on SS3, probably why he put the boot down on SS4. On the local end of things, ...
