Squeaky bum time for Cronin at the top of the heap after SS4

There’s an absolute cracker of a battle at the top of the rankings after the second run around the Clogh stage, Cronin is still leading, albeit by only 3.8″, but guess what, Michael Boyle posting the fastest time on the stage 4.9″ quicker than the man in front of him, anyone going to give a prediction of what will happen on the next stage? Declan Boyle posted the 2nd fastest time on the stage to put another 1.1″ more of a gap between him and Gary Kiernan in 4th. David Kelly matched Kiernan’s time exactly on the stage, but was almost 9″ quicker than Brendan McCumiskey behind him in 6th. Tommy Doyle looks to be the biggest loser on SS4, he has dropped five places to 11th, can only think a spin or some form of off would explain, will have to watch this on the next stage. Desi Henry, Jason Black and Jonathan Pringle have all moved up to 7th, 8th and 9thwith Cal McCarthy dropping down to 10th. as expected, James Stafford has moved up one place to 13th, and is only 0.8″ off the 12th place car of Johno Doogan, and was nearly 5″ quicker than Doogan on SS4 and breathing heavily down the neck of McCarthy in 10th as well, we’ll keep an eye on this as SS5 finishes. No sign of Tomas O’Rourke yet, we’ll have to get the spies out on the course to try find out what happened there.
