Daniel Cronin now leads by 9.5″ going into the last stage before the overnight halt, he was the only driver under 6 minutes on the Kilthomas stage. Declan Boyle should be 2nd overnight barring a slip on the final stage of the day with Michael Boyle having 31.3″ to spare over 4th. This 4th spot was belonging to Gary Kiernan before the latter seems to have lost about a minute somehow on SS8 dropping him to 6th, a two place drop, David Kelly and Desi Henry being the beneficiaries of the Kiernan slip up. An even worse loss of time seems to have befallen Brendan Cumiskey, he posted a time of 7’20.4″ on SS8 and has dropped 6 places to 13th. Cal McCarthy has leapfrogged Jason Black to 7th, with Black, Jonathan Pringle and Johno Doogan completing the top 10. Richie Moore has climbed one place to 18th to be the laeding Wexford driver.
