Daniel Cronin is starting to stretch the lead a little on each stage now, a second here or there has put the lead out to6.4″ over Declan Boyle, who in turn has 7.9″ to spare over Michael Boyle. Gary Kiernan has 5.4″ to make up on the latter of the two Boyles to improve on 4th, but has 24.6″ of a cushion over David Kelly in 5th. Desi Henry is more or less matching Kelly but is 11″ faster than Brendan Cumiskey in 7th and 10″ faster than Jason Black in 8th, so these three places possibly won’t change over the last two stages of the day. Jason Black and Cal McCarthy are 9th and 10th respectively, which brings the big question to local fans, where’s James Stafford? he has slowed to a stop on that stage, which would look like a breakdown. Richie Moore in 19th looks like the best of the Wexford drivers.
