Wood leads after SS12 but Evans closes in a bit
With not much more than the top 10 times from SS12 in yet, it is looking very good for the hat trick for Steve Wood. He managed to ease off a small bit on the second run around Boolaboy where the gap reduced by just over 11 seconds, but last time around when the cars did Redgate, Wood hauled that back in heaps, will he do the same on the second pass through? John Dalton looks almost certain to take 3rd ahead of Frank Kelly, unlikely now that Richard Moore will have enough stage miles to haul Kelly in, 5th looking safe as he is pulling away a small bit from Wesley Patterson.
Richard Cleary is holding nicely to 10th but Leon Galvin has little more than the thickness of a coat of paint to separate him and Brendan McDaid, a possible drop of one place there. Meanwhile James Bradley is closing in on Mark Straker fast and could be in 14th before the final service of the rally.
