The gap gets closer
Eddie Doherty still leads the rally, but the 1.5s gap that existed before the cars started the stage in Twelveacre is now down to exactly 1s, Michael Boyle is laying down his marker for the day. Declan Boyle lost 2s from the rally leader on SS10, but is the only other car to come within 2s of fastest stage time and has increased his cushion back to Daniel Cronin in 4th. Matthew Boyle is in 5th, with Aidan Wray in 6th posting an almost identical stage time. Shane Quinn in 7th is the only other driver to get under the 6m mark for the stage, with James Stafford in 8th conceding 6.1s to Casey Jay Coleman in 9th, the gap here is down to7.9s. Andrew Purcell in in a safe spot in 10th for the moment, he has a cushion of 42s between him and Mark Alcorn in 11th.
