Stafford almost home
James Stafford is within touching distance of the win now, even able to give a bit of time away to Stephen McCann on the last run through Quitchey and still leave nearly two minutes of a gap back to the leading 4WD car. Wesley Patterson is all but assured of 4rd but the battle royale could be behind him between Leon Galvin and Tomás O’Rourke for 4th & 5th. There is only 6″ gap between the two and the latter was 7.2″ quicker on the stage so it could all come down to the wire on the last stage of the rally. John Reddington got ahead of Darren O’Brien with Paul Rowley, Justin Smyth and James Bradley moving into the top 10.
