Byrne wins Junior Title
Congratulations to club member Jack Byrne on becoming the Ginetta Junior Ireland Champion for 2020, taking five race victories along with six pole positions and 9 podiums to secure the championship by a comfortable margin.
Jack joined the Wexford Motor Club Youth Academy in 2016 and has had much success since, winning the Junior Kart drive in the first year of the Youth Academy before moving on to compete in Rallycross – winning the Junior Irish Rallycross title in 2018 and 2019. Jack is still very much involved with the Youth Academy and is on hand to help younger members to get involved in motorsport.
We look forward to keeping an eye on Jacks progress as he moves into senior racing for 2021 and wish him every success in the future.
