Doherty not done yet

Game back on her after SS12, just when we thought that Michael Boyle had got the better of Eddie Doherty, the Kilkenny man said “hold on here ya whippersnapper” or something to that effect, and took 1.4s back from the Donegal man and the gap is down to 0.4s,methinks we’re in for a cracking last six stages!! It looked for a second on the tracker screen that the big story was that Declan Boyle might have been in bother, but then his coverage came back and he was safe in 3rd, and knocked out 2nd fastest stage time while he was at it, 0.7s faster than his son. Daniel Cronin has increased the gap back to Matthew Boyle in the battle for 4th & 5th, Boyle in turn increasing the gap back to Aidan Wray and Shane Quinn in 6th & 7th, those two had almost identical stage times. Casey Jay Coleman is comfortable in 8th with Andrew Purcell and Cal McCarthy rounding out the top10. I’ll add a word of caution about 10th and 11th place, that of James Stafford,Stafford held his place on the stage, so would wonder that his slow time on the stage might be inaccurate and we’ll see what happens. Either way, Stafford will definitely be having the service crew see if there is something amiss with the Darrian.
