Cronin closing in on the win
Daniel Cronin is starting to tighten his grip on the top spot at the moment and is now six stages away from being only the 2nd ever winner of the rally in a Toyota, Peader Hurson being the only other in a Celica in 2001. The gap between our rally leader and Ryan McHugh is now out to 15.7sec. Casey Jay Coleman Rallying is now beginning to find a decent turn of pace again, 2nd fastest through the stage, but too much to do to get on the podium, class honours seem to be the plan from the look of things. Jack Brennan, Simon Reid and James Bradley have kept their respective places but behind these Adrian Hetherington has given up his place to Steve Wood. With a gap of only 1.1sec between the two, this battle will go down to the wire. Do you remember that battle between Brian Bolger and Bobby Hennessey, oh boy, that’s just got tasty with Hennessey taking 5.6sec from Bolger with the gap down to 0.7sec, game on!!
