Andrew Purcell looking to upset the apple cart
With the leading cars just finished the first stage of the day, the results screen was changing quicker than we could look at it. Just as we thought that James Stafford had taken a 7.2″ lead, Andrew Purcell in the Fiesta went even quicker again with 5″ exactly advantage over the Darrian. Richard Moffett in the Starlet has got into 3rd ahead of Gary Kiernan, who in turn has Stephen McCann very close behind in another Fiesta in 5th. Richard Cleary and Richie Moore are in 7th and 8th with Tomas O’Rourke in 11th. Good showing early doors for local crews.
