Boyle blasts back, he’s put the gap back out to 8.1s
What a way to answer a question, Boyle took 5.1s out of Doherty on the penultimate stage, probably a mountain too far for the Kilkenny man at this stage. Daniel Cronin lost almost 4s to Matthew Boyle on SS17, but still has 18.3s to spare, so will just have to hold it together it would seem. Just under 1m back from Matthew Boyle in 4th is the belter of a ding dong, Aidan Wray has gone back ahead of Shane Quinn, but the gap is only 3.3s, which of the two will either go large or go home as they say. Casy Jay Coleman and Andrew Purcell are nailed on for 7th and 8th, the battle for 9th and 10th is going down to the wire, McCarthy is leading that battle by 1.8s, but Stafford was 1.9s quicker on SS17.
