Doherty still leads, but Declan Boyle on a heck of a charge, as is Michael
Well how’s about this. When it looked quite comfortable for Eddie Doherty, over the last two stages, it is looking far from that. Declan Boyle is still in 3rd, but has also taken a massive 5.2s out of the leader on the penultimate test off the day, the gap is now down to 9.5s, maybe too much to catch on SS9, but probably a gap that could be reduced to make our leader very very nervous. To add to the story, Michael Boyle has taken the chance to post a fastest stage time, going even faster than his Father by 0.3s, he’s only 7.2s off top spot. Methinks SS9 gonna be very tasty. The top 1o is as was from the previous stage, but Matthew Boyle, Shane Quinn and Aidan Wray all chipping away slightly at Cronin’s total time. James Stafford is still in 8th with Casey Jay Coleman taking a tiny bit of time from Stafford, but Andrew Purcell in 10th taking a decent chunk of time out of both men in front of him.
