The rally underway, minus a previous winner!
The cars are just starting SS1 up near Templeshanbo, Steve Wood will be anxious to take up where he left off 12 months ago by setting out a marker on the first test of the day. It is a tad slippy out there after more than a little rain during the night. One car that local fans will have to do without seeing over the weekend though is James Stafford. When the car was put to bed for the night, Philip Case and crew were very happy with the readiness of the car, but low and behold, the early morning blues hit the Millington power unit and when it wouldn’t fire up at full power, the Clonmines man pulled his entry, number 6, will not run this weekend.
