Wood takes up where he left off, leading after SS10
Steve Wood has retained his overnight lead albeit with Meirion Evans taking 2.1″ off the overnight leader on the first pass through Boolaboy. The big news of the morning is that Gary Kiernan is out of the rally. His not so terminal clutch problem from last night has turned into a terminal ditch problem on the first stage this morning. Frank Kelly is now up to 4th and the good news on the local front is that Richard Moore has now moved up to 5th. It maybe a tall order to take over 1.5 minutes out of Kelly’s advantage, but Moore would probably take 5th any day of the week. Richard Cleary has now moved into 10th with Leon Galvin one place back and James Bradley in 15th, locals continuing on with the good day yesterday
