Pete Doughty claimed stage two of the Talbot Hotel Wexford Rally around Bola Beag, holding off leader Donal O'Donovan and third-placed Eamonn Boland by two seconds.

However, the Corkman still leads, though with a slightly smaller advantage of 19 seconds, with Boland a further back.

Stage 3 is being skipped due to a fallen tree. The drivers will be thankful that the earlier poor conditions have abated.
