Gusts of up to a hundred miles an hour are set to lash the South-East.

Meterologists at Met Eireann, the Irish Met Office, report that winds of up to sixty miles an hour are to strike across the nation, and have issued a rare national weather warning predicting extremely heavy gusts.

As a result, atrocious weather is expected for Saturday and Sunday, which will test the drivers to the limit.
