The prize giving takes place on Saturday night for the 1999 South East Stages Rally Championship at the Springhill Court Hotel in Kilkenny.
John Treacy and co-driver John Smithwick of Kilkenny took the main prize by scoring maximum points in the last four rallies they took part in, having a grand total of zero after the first three of the seven-race series.
Their Class 3 Escort scored ten points less throughout the campaign than Dermot Kelly and Greg Shinnors' Class 5 Cosworth, but because only the best four results were brought forward, the Shannonsiders had to drop one of their useful twelves achieved in Birr and Tipperary's Stonethrowers Rally.
In the end, they ran up 56 points compared to Treacy and Smithwick's 60.
In third was the inimitable Clonmel man Jimmy Lambert, partnered by James Coleman in their Escort, who finished third on 54 points, having to drop a 5 and a solitary 1.
Saturday's big event gets underway at 8:30, with a limited number of tickets still available.
