Never being a club to hold back on a new inovation that is suggested, Wexford Motor Club, in conjunction with us here at the website and our broadband partners, South East Broadband, are announcing that 2007 will be the year that we will be one of the first clubs to do live webcasts from non WRC events in the country.

The streaming server we will be using will allow viewers to view the webcasts using Windows Media Player, probably the most common of the players available. As well as live webcasts, we hope to screen some recorded material, especially in slack times for the hardened rally follower.

The first event to be screened will be the Autotest in Wellintonbridge on February 11th, the exact transmission time to be finalised nearer the time, as this will be the transmission that will iron out any details as to presentation style. All the club events during the year will have some form of audio, video, or both forms of webcast during the year, culmination in what we hope will be groundbreaking coverage of the Riverbank House Hotel Dick Bailey stages rally in September. Keep checking the "Webcasts" section on the side menu for more details and dates of transmissions. On the days involved, this page will link you to the transmission.
