Sorry about the delay in getting this last report to you, but up till 21.46hrs this evening, John McCarthy was still showing up in the top 10 despite having gone outof the rally on the last stage, so better give you an accurate top 10.

The rally is brewing up to be one of the tightest rallies for the last number of years, with Eamon Boland only having a 19" advantage over Noel Redmond. These two have been matching or swapping fastest times for a lot of the day. Not to be outdone, PJ McGrath showed his lack of fear for the top 2 by taking the stage honours on the last stage of the day in Crossabeg. boland could only take one fdurther second out of Redmond on that final test.

The long session tomorrow will see if the battle between McGrath and David James will get any hotter, but Washinton James seems to be in for a good dice with George cullen for 5th & 6th.

The places from 7th to 10th will also give a mouth watering dice, with Neil Williams, Willie Whitty, Tomas O'Rourke and the ever young John Price only covering 23". With a good run of form, any of these four could make big moves, or a bit of bad luck, make moves in a negative direction.

All this makes up for one of the most open and exiting second days rallying in wexford for a long time!!
