More tragedy hits Irish motorsport

The annual Wexford Hillclimb event takes place this weekendIrish motorsport was hit by more tragedy on Sunday following the death of Dick Bailey during the Wexford Hillclimb weekend in Inistioge.

Dick, who was aged 52 and married, died in a crash during Sunday's compeition.

A native of New Ross, he had finished sixth in the previous day's event.

Sunday's competition was immediately cancelled as a mark of respect.

Wexford Motor Club wishes to extend its sympathy to Dick's family.

May he rest in peace.
