More tragedy hits Irish motorsport

Irish motorsport was hit by more tragedy on Sunday following the death of Dick Bailey during the Wexford Hillclimb weekend in Inistioge. Dick, who was married and in his forties, died in a crash during Sunday's compeition. A native of New Ross, he had finished sixth in the previous day's event. Sunday's competition was immediately cancelled as a mark of respect. Wexford Motor Club wishes to extend its sympathy to Dick's family. May he rest in peace.
