I would like on behalf of Wexford Motor Club to extend a warm welcome to all competitors, spectators and visiting officials to Fethard-on-Sea in South West Wexford. Motorsport is experiencing such popularity that it was decided to allow an extra two rallies this year. We of Wexford Motor Club were very lucky to be the club in the southern half of the country to receive this extra event. I would like to express a huge thanks to the people of Fethard and surrounding areas for allowing us to host this event in their village - and of course all the residents on the stage for their co-operation. A special thank you to all our sponsors, without whose contribution it wouldn't be possible to stage this event - Hotel Naomh Seosamh, Dillons Supermarket, Droopy's Pub, Molloys Bar, Neville's Pub, Paddy Wall and Sons. Under the leadership of Des Byrne, this is promising to be a most enjoyable weekend. Finally, I would like to thank all the officials and marshalls for their help in running this event and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend of motorsport.
