In memory of the late Bertie Fisher, number 1 on the entry list has been rested for this year, meaning the entries for this edition of the Wexford Rally alone will start at two. Eamonn Boland heads the starters in car number two, followed by the man who beat him in the recent Stonethrower's Rally in Tipperary, Paul Harris. Other leading contenders in the opening start list include David Armstrong, tim McNulty, Sean McArdle and Gavin Harris in his Group N Subaru Impreza. The scaled-down event will see a start list made up exclusively of Irish entrants – including those from Northern Ireland - which should see large interest from those involved in the clubman circuit. Saturday’s racing will consist of one solitary stage traversed twice, while Sunday’s climax will see the field circuiting three stages three times – giving a total of eleven stages over the weekend.
